About Us

The Henry County CARE Team is non-profit organization of volunteers from multiple facets of our community that come together to discuss, plan, and implement ideas to make our community safer and healthier for kids and families to grow and live.  A safer, healthier community creates an atmosphere where all individuals are encouraged to live drug-free lives, and make wise choices for a personally successful future.

The over 100 members include parents, social service agencies, churches, government, law enforcement, civic organizations, schools, business owners, retirees, health departments, childcare providers, and more.

The CARE Team holds
coalition meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month to:
  • get updates
  • be educated on current "hot topics" with special guest speakers each month
  • celebrate successes and
  • hold community discussions around specific topics

Program Committees are formed to plan, implement, and evaluate specific programs and projects.

The CARE Team coordinates community collaboration on a variety of programs, events, & special initiatives.  (For complete information, click on the titles to link to the full program page.)
